The most prestigious scholastic surf event in Britain attracted a record-breaking 122 surfers from 38 schools. Despite the shifting conditions, the contest got plenty of swell. The first event of the surfing season provides an opportunity for surfers to show how they have progressed, and a weekend to enjoy with their friends as winter becomes a fading memory.
