Icah Wilmot has conquered the 2015 Makka Pro. The contest was run in solid overhead waves in Southaven, Yallahs, Saint Thomas. Jamaica’s ultimate surfing contest attracted thousands of fans to the beach for a total of four highly competitive divisions. The 9th edition of the Makka Pro is one of the longest running surf events in the Caribbean. In the Open Men’s final, Elishama Beckford knew he had a tough opponent. Icah Wilmot is a multiple-time Jamaican surfing champion. After several wave exchanges, Beckford was left chasing an excellent, but his last ride just wasn’t enough to beat Icah.
