Frederico Morais was the stand-out surfer of Round 2 of the 2016 Hawaiian Pro. The second day of competition got underway in challenging 20-foot waves, in Haleiwa. The first stop of the Triple Crown of Surfing plays a decisive role in the Qualifying Series (QS) scenario. Morais nailed the second highest two-wave total of Round 2, and the highest single wave of the event so far. On his first ride of the heat, he found a 9.77-point gem, before backing it up with another solid 8.10.
