The famous 7’8” Reverse Vee shaped by Maurice Cole for Tom Curren will be sold at the California Gold Vintage Surf Auction on September 26th, 2015, at the Culver City Veterans Memorial Museum. Tom Curren celebrated his only victory in Haleiwa (Wyland Gallery Pro 1991) against Martin Potter, Tom Carroll, and Johnny Boy Gomez, with this stickerless magic board. The Surfing Heritage And Culture Center (SHACC), a non-profit organization dedicated to preserving, presenting and promoting surfing’s heritage will sell Curren’s winning gun to raise funds for the institution and for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF).
