The contract between Wavegarden and Conwy Adventure Leisure (CAL) has been signed opening way to the world’s first artificial wave pool, to be installed in the Conwy Valley, Wales. The company behind the pioneering Surf Snowdonia project confirmed that a seven-figure first stage payment has been made. UK’s first inland surfing destination will open to the public by early summer 2015. “We have worked alongside the team at Wavegarden for some time now and are delighted to finally make good on our promise of a partnership,” says Steve Davies, managing director of CAL.
