Michael Rodrigues and Coco Ho conquered the Oceano Santa Catarina Pro 2014, an ASP 6-Star event held at Praia da Joaquina, Florianopolis, in Brazil. Rodrigues defeated Santiago Muniz, the younger brother of Dream Tour campaigner Alejo Muniz, with a wide collection of aerials and moves on the small wave faces. “I feel pretty emotional right now. I wasn’t expecting this victory. I sustained an injury awhile back, and when I started surfing again, I said to myself that I would train hard as if each day were my last. But I still can’t believe that I won,” says Rodrigues.
