The Peruvian team has raised the winner’s flag at the ISA 50th Anniversary World Surfing Games, held at Punta Rocas, in Peru. Meet the new champions. Leandro Usuna from Argentina, and Anali Gomez from Peru, are the new ISA Open gold medallists, after a historic day of surfing for Latin America. Despite playing in home waters, the Peruvians were forced to handle the pressure. The locals managed to defeat Australia by a small margin of only 62 points in the overall Team Standings, one of the closest winning margins in ISA history.
