Paul Scholten and Emma Webb have taken out the 2015 Australian Longboard Titles, at Arrawarra Headland, in Coffs Harbour. The local star collected a total of 16.50 points to defeat Ruben Roxburgh, Jack Entwistle, and Dane Pioli in the decisive Men’s final. Scholten was awarded a wildcard into the event, and he couldn’t believe he had just won the event. “To come in with all the other fellow finalists and hear that you’ve won is an unreal feeling. To be honest I didn’t know I could get into this event, so to take it out in front of the local community feels like I’m giving something back. There were so many good surfers in this event, so to get the title over them feels amazing,” expressed Paul Scholten.
