The Newquay Boardriders have taken out the 2016 British Interclub Surf Championships, held at Fistral Beach, in Cornwall. Surf clubs represent an important role in British surfing culture, and that is why the British Interclub Surf Championships are so popular. Once again, some of the country’s most talented wave riders showcased their skills for two days. Surfers from nine clubs competed across three divisions: Open, Women, and Junior. The Royal Navy Royal Marines Boardriders Club and Army Surfing also lightened up the competition.
