Mick Fanning donated the $75,000 Channel Nine’s “60 Minutes” appearance fee to Mathew Lee, the bodyboarder who was severely injured in a shark attack, off Lighthouse Beach, in New South Wales, Australia. The professional surfer revealed all details behind the Jeffreys Bay incident and even returned to the water (to spot another shark) at Hasting’s Point, during the special report by “60 Minutes”. “We were sitting on there and then we sort of looked and we just saw a tiny little fin. You wouldn’t believe it – yeah, I swear to God… it was a full shark, hey,” said Fanning when he arrived at the beach.
