Matt Banting and Bailey Nagy have conquered the Vans US Open Pro Junior 2014, at Huntington Beach Pier, California. Banting was able to pull an excellent last-second 9-point wave to jump from last to first, and defeat finalists Cam Richards, Joshua Moniz, and Miguel Tudela. “I’m over the moon. I couldn’t really buy a wave throughout the heat and for that last wave to come in the last minutes was a gift from God,” reveals an emotional Matt Banting.
