The Floridian champion kicked off his 24th season on the world tour with a special victory, as he prepares to celebrate his 42nd anniversary. Slater scored one Perfect 10 in the Volcom Pipe Pro 2014. In the final four-man clash, the 11-time world champion defeated Wiggolly Dantas, Mason Ho, and Adriano De Souza.
