The Australian surfer defeated Gabriel Medina in six-to-seven foot waves at the End of the Road. Wilson secured his third Championship Tour (CT) victory of his career and the first in Tahiti. Julian’s two highest scoring waves only arrived in the last ten minutes. And you could say they were miracle waves. First, he broke the combination situation with a 9.23 wave and then, with three minutes on the clock, he finds an opportunity that propelled him to first place.
