The International Surfing Association (ISA) has officially submitted the application for surfing’s inclusion in the Tokyo 2020 Games, to be held in Japan. Fernando Aguerre, president of the ISA, is confident that the sport of waves will make its Olympic debut in the land of the rising sun. “I’m delighted to confirm that the ISA has submitted its application to the Tokyo 2020 Organizing Committee for the inclusion of Surfing at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games,” says Aguerre.
