Wipeouts and upsets marked the near conclusion of Round 2 at the Billabong Pro Tahiti 2014, in Teahupoo. With six-to-eight foot barrels on offer, the world’s best surfers repeated the daily dose of tube riding performances. Josh Kerr survived the first elimination round against fellow countryman Mitch Coleborn. Kerr put out a solid surf, with an excellent 8.83 for his first wave, and a nine-point for a long tube and narrow escape.
