Greg Long is the 2016/2016 Big Wave Tour (BWT) champion. The surfer from California only competed in two of the three events of the season. A runner-up at the Todos Santos Challenge, in Mexico, and a third place in the Peahi Challenge, in Maui, were enough for Greg Long to claim his second Big Wave Tour title. “The 2015/2016 winter season has been one for the record books. There’s been record-breaking waves, more big swells, bigger barrels – basically every single level of performance in big wave surfing has just been shattered this year,” said Long.
