Surfing Great Britain (SGB) and the English Surfing Federation (ESF) have announced plans to merge both organizations. The new unified national governing body for the sport of surfing in England will be named English Surfing Federation. The decision has been coordinated with the International Surfing Association (ISA) and Sport England. The English Surfing Federation will be fully operational by March 2017 but, until then, there will be no disruption to service.
