Gerard Butler is negotiating his participation in the remake of Kathryn Bigelow’s 1991 surf movie “Point Break”. The Scottish actor, 44, is rumored to take the place of Patrick Swayze, as Bodhi, the charismatic leader of a gang of surfers. Butler, who has played Frosty Hesson in the 2012 biographical film “Chasing Mavericks”, has been the first choice for the new film written by Kurt Wimmer.
