Garrett McNamara has returned to Nazare, in Portugal, to chase the world’s biggest waves in the local Atlantic Ocean canyon. In the last two years, the experienced Hawaiian surf star has battled with giants in the small town of Nazare. World records have fallen and the country’s big wave reputation boosted. Garrett McNamara is ready for the 100-foot wave dream, in case Mother Nature decides it’s time for humans to rip it. Alongside with his wife Nicole, the fearless surfer brought heavy gear.
