Filipe Toledo has taken out the 2017 Hawaiian Pro, in Haleiwa Ali’i Beach Park, on the North Shore of Oahu. The Brazilian surfer bested a field of tough competitors in the finals and walked away victorious. Toledo beat Griffin Colapinto, Wiggolly Dantas, and Michel Bourez, and secured his first-ever win on the North Shore. The decisive heat got underway in wind-affected four-to-six-foot waves. The Championship Tour (CT) campaigner caught seven waves and was able to impose his experience in the shifty lineup.
