Ellie Turner and Jobe Harris have taken out the 2016 British National Surf Championships, at Perranporth. British surfing is changing. Surfing Great Britain and the English Surfing Federation announced plans for a merger and the future of the sport looks bright in the country. And when 215 surfers are willing to compete for glory across 15 divisions, you know they’re on the right path. The event had glassy three-to-four-foot surf thanks to the light offshore winds and gentle, autumnal swells.
