The 2016 ISA World Surfing Games will be held in Jacó, Costa Rica, between August 6th-14th. The event organized by the International Surfing Association returns to the Central American nation seven years after being held in Playa Hermosa. Costa Rica will be able to defend its 2015 title in home waters. The institution led by Fernando Aguerre hopes to attract to the resort city of Jacó more than 130 surfers from up to 30 countries. The ISA World Surfing Games might get underway with the sport confirmed in the Toky 2020 Olympics.
