Chelsea Williams is the 2014 ASP Women’s World Longboard champion. The Australia wave rider defeated Kelia Moniz in the decisive heat held in Wanning, Hainan Island, China. After finishing runner-up four times, Williams is finally celebrating a world title. The Gold Coast surfer showed her outstanding nose riding skills and mixed it with rail carves in the last five minutes of the final. “Did that just happen? I can’t believe it! I’ve wanted to win a World Longboard Title since I found out it existed. For a long time people have been telling me I deserve to win, now I finally believe them,” expressed Chelsea Williams.
