Kieran Grant has taken out the 2014 US Deaf Open of Surfing, Huntington Beach, California. The event held by the International Deaf Surfriders Association attracted competitors from all over the world, including Brazil, Israel, England, Ireland, Australia, Japan, Basque Country, Uruguay and the USA. The US Deaf Open of Surfing was formed in 2001 to promote unity and interaction between deaf surf clubs. Kieran Grant won the Open Shortboard and the Open Longboard titles.
