Jaws delivered the last XXL swell of the 2013/2014 winter season. Broken boards, heavy wipeouts and capsized boats added drama to the all-star big wave surfing session. Monday, 3rd March, 2014. With a giant groundswell traveling from the northwest, the usual crew gathered for the regular challenge. If Shane Dorian’s there, the so-called “chargers” must be there, too. This time, the god of the Sea had shifting plans for the surfing day. Light winds would give place to strong gusts, and the wave face would get from perfect glass to bumpy roads.
