Australia has taken out the gold medal at the 2016 Fiji ISA World SUP and Paddleboard Championship. Shakira Westdorp (SUP Surfing Women), Michael Booth (SUP Distance Racing Men), Harriet Brown (Harriet Brown), and Matt Poole (Paddleboard Racing Technical Men) won five gold medals with the Australian flag. “Our goal was to take the gold back to Australia, and we did it. Everyone represented Australia well and contributed to the team points. I am proud of the team and what we achieved today,” stated Westdorp.
