Alex Ribeiro has claimed the Mahalo Surf Eco Festival 2014, held in Itacare, Brazil. Ribeiro is ready to celebrate the 2014 ASP South American title, after a stunning performance in Bahia. The Brazilian surfer defeated Paul Cesar Distinguin, in a low scoring final, and heads to the O’Neill SP Prime with confidence. “I’m so proud to represent Brazil with this victory here in Itacare. It’s my second victory this year, so I’m stoked. My board has been feeling great for these kinds of waves, so everything’s been working out well for me,” explains Ribeiro.
