Portugal has quite been the center of world surfing in October 2011. Extreme waterman Garrett McNamara has surfed the biggest wave of the year in the country, after conquering the big waves at Praia do Norte, in Nazaré, on Monday, October 17th. There were three days of big waves McNamara was there with CJ Macias to participate in the ZON North Canyon Show 2011 , a surf project which runs until the end of November.
