Surfers are flying to Brazil for the third stage of 2013 ASP World Championship Tour (WCT), to be ridden between May 8th–19th. The Billabong Rio Pro 2013 is a very important stop. The race is on and the usual suspects are under the spotlight. Regularity is critical if you want to become a world surfing champion and Barra da Tijuca/Arpoador, in Rio de Janeiro, is a decisive challenge. Leading by only 50 points, Kelly Slater is ready to talk Portuguese to the waves of the iconic Brazilian surf destination. He won the opening event of the season and now he’s ready to recover from an uncharacteristic 13th place, at Bells Beach.
