The Mavericks Invitational 2013/2014 is on. Big wave surfers and staff are all starting to arrive at Half Moon Bay. The competition will run Friday, 24th January, at 8am. A giant swell is heading towards the Californian coast. If wind, wave height and wave period conditions get aligned, the Mavericks Invitational 2013/2014 will be called on. Remember that it is no longer possible to watch the event from the beach and bluffs. Surf fans are invited to the Mavericks Festival, where they can gather together, enjoy the weather, music, refreshments, and watch the action streaming live on the JumboTrons.
